Privacy policy

This policy explains what Ordermandu (ordermandu.com and the Ordermandu apps for iPhone and Android) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), city, and phone number if you add one.
• What you post: listings, photos, prices, stock and sales records, and comments.
• Messages you send to other people through Ordermandu chat.
• Reports you make about listings, and people you block.
• If you use the app and allow notifications: a push notification token for your device.
• A login cookie (website) or login token (app) so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To run the marketplace: show your listings, let buyers contact you, and deliver chat messages.
• To send you a verification code when you sign up, and notifications about new messages.
• To keep Ordermandu safe: review reports and remove listings or accounts that break the rules.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

What other people can see

Your listings, name, city and comments are public. Your phone number shows on your listings unless you choose "Hide my phone number" in your account. Your email address is never shown to other users. Messages are only visible to the two people in the conversation (and to our team if a conversation is reported for abuse).

Services we use

We store data with Vercel (website hosting and photo storage) and Neon (database), send emails with Resend, and send app notifications through Expo. They process data only to provide these services to us.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from your account page on the website or in the app. This permanently deletes your account, listings, photos, comments, chats and sales records. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted.

Children

Ordermandu is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
